The brief
Greenbridge Distribution came to us with an existing online presence that was not providing the business with the platform it needed.
The previous website was a basic landing page with limited functionality. It provided some information about the business, but there was no proper ecommerce experience for customers to explore the company’s wholesale product range or place orders online.
The project was taken over from another agency, with the client looking for a more structured and professional approach to moving the project forward, alongside clearer communication throughout the process.
The objective was to replace the limited landing page with a complete ecommerce platform that could properly represent Greenbridge Distribution and provide its customers with a straightforward way to browse and purchase wholesale products online.
The execution
We began by establishing a clearer visual direction for Greenbridge Distribution, selecting brand colours that could be used consistently throughout the new website and create a more recognisable identity for the business.
The website itself required more than a standard business website, so we approached the project as a custom ecommerce build using Shopify.
Rather than adapting the existing landing page, we built a completely new store around the requirements of Greenbridge Distribution and its customers.
The website was structured to make the product range easier to explore, with dedicated product presentation, clear navigation and a straightforward purchasing journey.
Shopify provided the ecommerce infrastructure required to manage products and orders, while the custom build allowed us to create an online experience suited specifically to the business rather than relying on the limitations of the previous site.
Throughout the project, we maintained clear communication with the client and focused on delivering a practical ecommerce platform that could continue to develop alongside the business.
